The Concept & Genesis

This intensive four-day project was completed at ECV Paris in collaboration with Lorianne Rit. The brief was an absolute dream: a complete blank canvas to imagine a music festival from scratch. We decided to say goodbye to traditional muddy fields to create a brand new hybrid concept. The vision fuses pushing your physical limits in the high mountains with the pure energy of an altitude festival. The name BPM bridges Beats Per Minute and our core concept: Beat, Peaks and Music, while the 128 indicates the exact physical mileage of this edition.

Visual Identity & Typography

Our logo embodies the very essence of this extreme experience. The silhouette illustrates a figure in motion, simultaneously a climbing trekker and a dancing festival-goer. To support this identity, the Field Gothic Bold typography features a textured, bleeding effect that recalls dirt and raw physical effort. The bright "Signal Peak" red echoes mountain trail markers, contrasting perfectly with natural tones like "Brume Matinale" and "Abysse Alpin". It represents the ultimate visual contrast between human footprint and natural vastness.

Signage & Identification

On high mountain trails, clear visibility is a matter of safety and organization. We designed highly visual passes to instantly identify the status of every attendee on the tracks: Trekker, Staff, or Artist. The design of these badges incorporates the technical and utilitarian codes of outdoor hiking equipment, while maintaining the raw, textured visual impact required for an electronic music festival aesthetic.

Trekker's Logbook & Gorpcore

Serving as the ultimate passport for the adventure, the trekker's logbook acts as a survival guide and event program. It gathers all vital information such as topography, trail maps, distances between checkpoints, and a pace guide to ensure you never miss a DJ set. Finally, the entire range of merch and snacks visible throughout the project was designed with a strong "Gorpcore" vibe, providing the extreme fuel needed to successfully combine high-level sports and musical celebration.
